Por isto, optou-se por realizar um programa de suplementação para crianças com superdotação que demonstraram entusiasmo em aprender língua inglesa, visto que tal disciplina ainda não fazia parte de sua grade curricular por estudarem em uma escola estadual para alunos até 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental. Tal programa foi elaborado com o objetivo de desenvolver não apenas a língua inglesa, mas também a criatividade dos participantes a partir da concepção dos três anéis de Renzulli. Alunos sem superdotação e com as mesmas características do primeiro grupo ingressaram no projeto, totalizando 12 participantes, seis meninos e seis meninas. O trabalho foi realizado durante o segundo semestre de 2015 em uma escola periférica localizada em uma cidade de médio porte do interior do estado de São Paulo, tendo como objetivos verificar o desenvolvimento da criatividade antes e após o programa de suplementação, comparar o desempenho dos grupos e analisar a intervenção realizada. As doze crianças fizeram parte do programa de desenvolvimento da criatividade por meio da língua inglesa simultaneamente, compondo um único grupo que se reuniu semanalmente por duas horas, após o período de aulas regulares, em um total de quatorze encontros. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: It is known that, in Brazil, a few students with giftedness are identified and offering them additional activities from ares of their interest is even more problematic. Therefore, the decision to carry out an supplementation program for children with giftedness who showed enthusiasm in learning English was taken, especially because this subject is not part of the regular curriculum in state schools until the 5th year of elementary school. This program was designed with the objective of developing not only the language, but also the creativity of participants from Renzulli's three rings perspective. Students without giftedness and with the same characteristics of the first group joined the project, totaling 12 particpants, six boys and six girls. The study was conducted during the second semester of 2015 in a peripheral school located in a medium-sized city in state of São Paulo aiming to verify the development of creativity before and after the supplementation program, to compare the groups performance and to analyze the intervention performed. The twelve children were part of the development of creativity through English program simultaneously, composing a single group that met weekly for two hours after school period in a total of fourteen meetings. The instruments used to compare pre and post-tests results of both groups were: English language activity (developed by the researcher). Torrance and Children's Creativity Figural Test.
