The aim of this thesis is to compose a business plan for a new café in the centre of Prague and asses the feasibility of such intent. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one focuses on legislation for gastronomy in the Czech Republic. The second one describes the process of making a business plan and gives a sense of the motives behind it. The third chapter is dedicated to coffee and its position in business and society. The fourth chapter is practically oriented. Findings from the previous chapter are used employed in making of a realistic business plan for this specific café. Included is an analysis of a marketing research carried out specially for this thesis.
