Toma por base a teoria das Representações Sociais de Serge Moscovici (1961) e desenvolve pesquisa de campo com cinco sujeitos acolhidos pelo Abrigo Municipal Pâmela Silva do município de Paranaíba- MS. Fizeram parte da pesquisa os gestores do Abrigo e da escola municipal, os técnicos e os professores. Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa, com realização de entrevistas e utilização de análise de conteúdo no estudo dos resultados. Apesar de historicamente a evolução do acolhimento no Brasil ser visível, ainda há muito por se fazer na proteção da criança e no combate à revitimização / Abstract: This paper studies the situation of children at social risk and personnel in residential care, with the Postgraduate Program in Social Work, the UNESP, Franca-SP. Is based on the theory of Social Representations of Serge Moscovici (1961) and develop field research with five subjects received by the Municipal Shelter Pamela Silva in the municipality of Paranaíba - MS. The present study managers Shelter and municipal school, technicians and teachers. It is a qualitative research with interviews and using content analysis in the study results.
