A alquilação derracemizante da dihidrocarvona (25), via suas iminas quirais 28 e Jl, obtidas a partir da reação com (S)-(- )-feniletilamina (27) ou (R)-( + )-feniletilamina (30), permitiu a obtenção estereoesseletivaa das octalonas 29 e 32, homoquirais, com um e. d. de >95% e 58%, respectivamente. As octalonas 29 e 32 foram então utilizadas como intermediários- chave para a síntese dos sesquiterpenos eudeslnanos 4,10-epi-5J3-. hidroxidihidroeudesmol (33) e 4aH-eudesman-5a-ol (34), através das rotas sintéticas mostradas abaixo.[Síntese do 4, 1 O-epi-5~-hidroxidihidroeudesmol (33) ][Síntese do 4aH-eudesman-5a-ol (34)] / The homochiral octalones 29 and 32 were obtained in >95% and 58% d.e., respectively, by a stereoselective deracemizing alkylation of the dihydrocarvone (25), via their chiral imines 28 and 32. The octalones were then used as key intermediates in the synthesis of the eudeslnane sesquiterpenes, 4, 1 O-epi-5~-hydroxydihydroeudesmol (33) and 4aH-eudesman-5a-ol (34), as shown below.
