Objetivos: Identificar el nivel de conocimientos que tienen los adolescentes del 5to año de secundaria sobre su sexualidad y la manifestación de sus impulsos sexuales. Material y método: El presente estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, nivel aplicativo, método descriptivo de corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por estudiantes del 5° año de secundaria; seleccionándose una población de 162 adolescentes. El instrumento que se utilizó fue el cuestionario y la escala lickert. Resultados: En relación al conocimiento sobre sexualidad, de 161 (100%) adolescentes, 35 (22%) tienen conocimiento alto, 69 (42.8%) medio y 57 (35.5%) bajo. En relación a los impulsos sexuales que manifiestan los adolescentes de 161 (100%), 82 (50.93%) refieren que están presentes los besos y caricias, en relación a la masturbación, en 101 (62.73%) adolescentes esta presente, con respecto al contacto intergenital en 93 (57.76%) adolescentes se encuentra presente, sobre las relaciones cóitales en 93 (57.76%) están presentes y en 68 (42.24%) ausente. Conclusiones: Los conocimientos sobre sexualidad que tienen los adolescentes son de nivel medio, relacionado a que desconocen las prácticas sexuales riesgosas y la manifestación de sus impulsos sexuales se encuentra presente mediante besos, caricias y relaciones cóitales, que traen como consecuencia los embarazos precoses y no deseados, abortos, ITS y otros. / Aims: Identify the level of knowledges that have the teenagers from the 5th year of secondary about their sexuality and the demonstration of their sexual impulses. Material and method: The present study is of type quantitive, applicative level, and descriptive method of transversal cut. The population was formed by students from the 5th year of secondary; selecting a population of 162 teenagers. The used instruments were a questionnaire and a lickert scale. Results: In relation to the knowledge about sexuality, of 161 (100%) teenagers, 35 (22%) have high knowledge, 69 (42.8%) half and 57 (35.5%) low. In relation to the sexual impulses that manifest the teenagers of 161 (100%), 82 (50.93%) refer that they are present the kisses and caresses, in relation to the masturbation, in 101 (62.73%) teenagers is present, regarding the intergenital contact in 93 (57.76%) teenagers is present, about the cóital relations in 93 (57.76%) are present and in 68 (42.24%) absent. Conclusions: The knowledges about sexuality that have the teenagers are half level, related to that they unknow the sexual practices of riskand the demonstration of their sexual impulses are present by kisses, caresses and coital relations that carry as consequence the precoses pregnancies and un wished, abortions, ITS and others.
