Actualmente, resulta relevante para las universidades mantener comunicación con sus egresados para tener una visión del desempeño laboral de cada uno de ellos. A esto se le suma la importancia que tiene el proceso de acreditación ABET por el que está pasando la Escuela de Ingeniería de sistemas y computación de la UPC, el cual tiene como uno de sus objetivos realizar un seguimiento a sus egresados para conocer si su rendimiento laboral y académico es el adecuado.
Sin embargo, en la actualidad la UPC no cuenta con procesos estandarizados que le faciliten esta tarea. Es por ello que, previamente, el proyecto VINEG realizó un trabajo investigación que permitió diseñar una arquitectura de negocio para solucionar esta problemática. Por consiguiente, el objetivo de nuestro proyecto es desarrollar un sistema web basado en los resultados del proyecto VINEG y, de este modo, lograr que la Escuela de Ingeniería de Sistemas y Computación de la UPC pueda conseguir y mantener el vínculo continuo con sus egresados.
Para poder definir el alcance del proyecto cabe mencionar que primero se realizará un levantamiento de requerimientos, para lo cual contamos con la documentación generada por el proyecto de investigación y las reuniones con el cliente, luego se elaborará el plan de trabajo, y así poder proseguir con el desarrollo, el cual incluye el diseño del modelo de datos y las funcionalidades del sistema. Y finalmente, se realizarán las pruebas necesarias para verificar y validar el funcionamiento correcto del sistema.
Durante el desarrollo del proyecto nuestro cliente será el profesor Luis Carty con quien definiremos los requerimientos del sistema. Además, se encargará que verificar que los resultados obtenidos sean satisfactorios. Asimismo, de contar con la información actualizada de los egresados en lo laboral y académico para poder conocer el rendimiento que ha tenido después de haber terminado su carrera. / Nowadays it turns out to be relevant for the universities to support communication with his gone away ones to have a vision of the labor performance of each one of them. To this there adds the importance that takes the process of accreditation ABET as which is spending the School of Systems engineering and computation of the UPC. For it, it is necessary to remember that one of the aims of the accreditation is that the UPC realizes a follow-up to his gone away ones to know if his labor and academic performance is the suitable one.
Nevertheless, at present the UPC does not rely on standardized processes that they facilitate this task to him. It is for it that, before, the project VINEG raised a work investigation that allowed to design an architecture of business to solve this problematics. Consequently, the aim of our project is to develop a web system based on the results of the project VINEG and, thus, to achieve that the School of Systems engineering and Computation of the UPC could manage and to support the constant link with his gone away ones.
To be able to define the scope of the project it is necessary to mention that first a raising requirement will be realized for which we possess the documentation generated by the project of investigation and the meetings with the client, then the plan of work will be elaborated and one will proceed with the development, which includes the design of the model of information and the functionalities of the system. And, finally, the necessary tests will be realized to check and to validate the correct functioning of the system.
During the development of the project our client will be the teacher Luis Carty with whom we will define the requirements of the system and who will take charge checking that the obtained results are satisfactory. And, thus, it will be fulfilled by the raised results: To possess the information updated of the gone away ones in the labor and academic thing to be able to know the performance that has had after having finished his career.
