My degree project evolves around the fact that entrepreneurship was added to the Swedish educational program for the elementary school in 2011. I focus on one possible reaction to entrepreneural pedagogics in elementary school, from a childs perspective. I examine this through depicting an introverted and self-critical childs reactions to the entrepreneural pedagogical goals of power of intiative and strong self-confidence. By this I hope to raise questions about how children could be affected by thinking of themselves in terms of entrepreneurs at early ages. And, in a wider context, how far we are willing to go in adapting humanity to market demands. My research has evolved around the reasons for- and the practicing of- entrepreneural pedagogics, and has resulted in writing of a script that takes place at the fictional Unikum primary school. The script was recorded by an acting student and is played over a series of nine sculptures I built that illustrate the contents of the story.
