The aim of the thesis is to develop evaluation of funding opportunities for development cooperation in the context of the selected development projects. To achieve the objective, it is necessary to select a developing country and based on the development project to evaluate selected country develop funding options for development assistance. Preparing the theoretical part will point out on the basis of the theoretical basis of the solved problems at home and abroad and will also serve as a theoretical basis for the development of practical part. In order to prepare the practical part was selected developing country Ethiopia to projects carried out by the Czech Republic with the aim to ensure access to drinking water for residents in Bona in Ethiopia. The development project will be within the practical part used as a base practical development and highlight funding opportunities to help and support for selected developing countries. At the same time donor countries and provide advanced companies available current trends in financing development activities, whose main objective is the creation of the state of reducing disparities between countries, the involvement of developing countries in the Economic Community of agriculture growth and the consolidation of democracy in the country. Taking the form of funding will be based on the conditions of the Czech Republic and the options that are available on the financial and business markets.
