Competing Discourses in Science Education Policy: A Discourse Analysis of the Tensions Surrounding Biological Evolution in Florida's Science Standards

This thesis presents a critical discourse analysis of the February 19, 2008 meeting of Florida's State Board of Education in which Florida's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for Science were adopted.
