The Relations Among Degrees of Economic Advantage, Reform Oriented Mathematics Principles, and Fourth-Grade Public School Student Mathematics Achievement

This quantitative study examined the mathematics achievement gap between students who were economically disadvantaged and economically advantaged. The influence of instructional practices aligned with reform-oriented mathematics principles on student achievement was examined using NAEP 2011 data.
