En la actualidad las empresas se enfrentan a un entorno cambiante que presenta cada vez más
desafíos y oportunidades para las que deben encontrarse preparadas en asumir y adaptarse a
la nueva realidad. El presente documento tiene como propósito realizar un Business
Consulting para la empresa PROJECTNET, con el fin de encontrar oportunidades de mejora
que contribuyan con el desarrollo, mejor desempeño y mejorar la rentabilidad a largo plazo.
PROJECTNET es una empresa peruana que brinda servicios profesionales en tecnología de la
información. Fue creada en el año 2014 y tiene como principales clientes a empresas del
sector financiero, servicios y educación. Al analizar sus fortalezas se identificó el tener un
amplio portafolio de soluciones y contar con un buen clima laboral; como debilidades, la baja
penetración de mercado. También se identifica una oportunidad resaltante y es que se está en
un momento post pandemia el cual ha impulsado el mercado de consumo de tecnología.
Se realizaron entrevistas a profundidad a los colaboradores para identificar el problema más
relevante, analizar las causas y proponer soluciones que permitan mejorar las ventas y la
productividad de la empresa. El problema principal fue que no existe una estandarización
definida en cuanto a los procesos de la empresa, para lo cual se realizó el análisis mediante
una matriz de complejidad/beneficio y el diagrama de relaciones de problemas y causas.
Se plantearon diferentes alternativas de solución y después de evaluarlas se concluyó que
implementar una gestión por procesos sería la mejor costo-eficiente para PROJECTNET, por
lo que se planteó un nuevo mapa de procesos, el cual permitirá realizar las actividades de
forma transversal orientado a objetivos, gestionar cada etapa de los procesos clave y poder
implementar optimizaciones y mejoras para hacerlos más eficientes y sostenibles. / Nowadays, companies face a changing environment that presents more challenges and
opportunities for which they must be prepared to assume and be able to adapt to the new reality.
The purpose of this document is to perform a Business Consulting for the company
PROJECTNET, in order to find improvement opportunities that contribute to its development
and superior performance, as well as to achieve better long-term profitability.
PROJECTNET is a Peruvian company that provides professional services in the area of
information technology. It was created in 2014 and its main clients are companies in differents
sectors, like financial, services and education. When analyzing its strengths, it was identified
to have a broad portfolio of solutions and a good working environment; and as weaknesses, the
low market penetration. An outstanding opportunity is also identified and it is the post-
pandemic moment which has boosted the technology consumption market.
In-depth interviews were conducted with the collaborators in order to identify the most relevant
problem, analyze the causes and propose solutions that allow them to enhance the sales and
productivity of the company. The main problem identified was that there is no defined
standardization in terms of the company's processes, for which the analysis was performed
using a matrix of complexity/benefit and the relationship diagram of problems and causes.
After an evaluation it was concluded that implementing a process management would be the
best cost-efficient for PROJECTNET, therefore a new process map is proposed, which will
allow execute the activities in a transversal way and goal oriented, managing each stage of the
key processes and being able to implement optimizations and improvements to make them
more efficient and sustainable over time.
