This study contributes knowledge about how preschool teachers perceive the concept technology and how they experience technology teaching in preschool. The collection of the empirical material has been done through interviews with six active preschool teachers and through a questionnaire that was sent out to all a municipality preschool teachers and babysitters. 25 people answered the survey. Studies material was transcribed and processed by a phenomenograpic analytical model. The results show that the participants in the study largely have a varying understanding of what the term technology means. Some have difficulty distinguishing the technology concept from the physical concept. Participants experience of technology teaching is that the lack of materials to some extent limits the teaching of technology. It turns out that a large part of the participants does not have planned technology lessons every week. The participants also emphasize that the corona pandemic has to some extent affected the operations. Most of the participants consider themselves to have technical competence bur that they want more continuing education in the subject.
