The thesis will consider ways of understanding drawing as an endless process, an experience leading to an intensification and understanding of the world, myself and capabilities of mine. Creation of long-term portrait studies, as a constant reiteration and improvement of the drawing. The theoretical part of the work defines the historical use of drawing as a material and tool for daily rituals in the visual arts, with an emphasis on artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. In the practical part, a series of portrait drawings was made in various techniques, which is listed in the theoretical part. In the didactic part, an artistic cycle on the theme "Endless drawing" / drawing as knowledge of the world was realized.
