This thesis aims to characterize the beer market in the Czech Republic, determine factors that affect the market and identify the modern trends in our country and in the world. The main objective of this thesis is to characterize the ideal restaurant environment based on consumer preferences, using a suitable marketing questionnaire. Obtained data and their analysis should be beneficial to both existing and emerging businesses of the beer market. Market research took place in Brno and its surroundings through quantitative data collection in electronic form. Based on this marketing research, it was determined how ideal company should look like and what beer and other assortment it should offer. I gathered information from available literature, the Internet and scientific articles.
