Efektyvus laiko valdymas šiandieninėje organizacijoje tampa lemiamas veiksnys siekiant sėkmės ir gerų veiklos rezultatų. Laiko valdymo procese didelė reikšmė tenka organizacijos vadovui. Vadovas, spręsdamas įvairias organizacijos struktūros problemas, priimamų sprendimų kokybės bei naujų informacinių technologijų diegimo klausimus, yra priverstas vienu metu vykdyti daugybę funkcijų, todėl jam iškyla problema, kaip efektyviai panaudoti laiką.
Tiriamojo darbo metu, analizuojant Ukmergės rajono ugdymo įstaigų vadovų ir pedagogų veiklą laiko vadybos aspektu, rasta nedaug mokslinių laiko vadybos tiriamųjų darbų vadovo veiklai įvertinti.
Tyrimo objektas – ugdymo įstaigų vadovų ir pedagogų veikla laiko vadybos aspektu. Darbo tikslas – įvertinti Ukmergės rajono ugdymo įstaigų vadovų veiklą laiko vadybos aspektu. Tikslas detalizuojamas uždaviniais, lėmusiais tokią darbo struktūrą: visų pirma, apibrėžiama laiko vadybos samprata, po to išryškinamos ekonominės ir socialinės neefektyvaus laiko valdymo problemos; išanalizuojami laiko planavimo priemonių privalumai ir taikymo galimybės; pagrindžiamos esminės laiko planavimo nuostatos; indentifikuojami laiko trukmę įtakojantys esami ir potencialūs darbo laiko nuostoliai (laiko vagys); galiausiai atliekamas vadovo veiklos vertinimas laiko vadybos aspektu. Darbo metodika, padėjusi išspręsti minėtus uždavinius, susideda iš mokslinės literatūros analizės ir anketinės apklausos.

The head leader of an organization plays an important part in the processes of time governing. He is forced to fulfill lots of functions at the some time- to solve different problems concerning changes in the structure of organizations, the quality of decisions and questions concerning achievements of information technologies. During research while analyzing the activity of the leader in Lithuanian institutions of education and science by time management aspect only few works on scientific reach of time management were found in which the activity of the leader in educational sphere is estimated.

The aim of the work- to estimate the activity of leaders and teachers by the aspect of time management in the kindergartens and schools of Ukmerge region.
