Previous issue date: 2018-02-28 / According to the National Justice Council (CNJ), it is recommended that several methods be used to better resolve judicial conflicts. Reconciliation is one of the means by which the consensual resolution of disputes can be strengthened, thus promoting a reduction in the rate of procedural congestion. The conciliatory environment can be considered one of the aspects of relevance for facilitating conciliation. This work intervened, under the principles of Environmental Psychology, in a courtroom of the Labor Court, with the intention of promoting an improved sense of well-being of the jurisdictions, and, consequently, facilitating conciliation processes. For this, an action research was developed in three phases, the first one being devoted to the quantitative investigation of the situation of the conciliatory processes and the perception of the jurisdictional ones about the environment. In the second phase, an
environmental intervention was carried out in the courtroom of the 3rd Labor Court of
Teresina and then, in the third phase, a quantitative evaluation of the impact of the
intervention with the jurisdictions was carried out. The data collected were statistically analyzed using SPSS software v.22.0. The results achieved were increased users' sense of well-being and the conciliation index. As a direct reflection of these results, there was a reduction in the rate of procedural congestion, the promotion of the sense of functionality of the justice system, and a closer relationship between the State and the citizen. / De acordo com o Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ), é recomendável que sejam aplicados
diversos métodos para melhor resolução dos conflitos judiciais. A conciliação é um dos meios através dos quais se pode potencializar a resolução consensual dos litígios, promovendo, assim, a diminuição da taxa de congestionamento processual. O ambiente conciliatório pode ser considerado um dos aspectos de relevância para que seja facilitada a conciliação. Este trabalho interveio, sob os princípios da Psicologia Ambiental, numa sala de audiências da Justiça do Trabalho, com a intenção de promover melhora no sentimento de bem-estar dos jurisdicionados, e, por consequência, facilitar os processos de conciliação. Para isso, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa-ação em três fases, sendo a primeira destinada à investigação quantitativa da situação dos processos conciliatórios e da percepção dos jurisdicionados acerca do ambiente. Na segunda fase, foi empreendida uma intervenção ambiental na sala de audiências da 3a Vara do Trabalho de Teresina e, em seguida, na terceira fase, foi realizada a avaliação quantitativa do impacto da intervenção junto aos jurisdicionados. Os dados coletados foram analisados estatisticamente, com o software SPSS v.22.0. Os resultados atingidos foram o aumento da sensação de bem-estar pelos usuários e do índice de conciliação. Como reflexo direto destes resultados, houve a redução da taxa de congestionamento processual, a promoção do sentimento de funcionalidade do sistema de justiça, além de maior aproximação entre o Estado e o cidadão.
