Pojištění cestovních kanceláří proti úpadku / Insurance against insolvency tour operators

The diploma thesis on Insurance against insolvency tour operators is engaged in the insurance of guarantee in the tour operators market. Those organizations are obliged to be insured according to the Civil Code Law n. 159/1999 Sb. o některých podmínkách podnikání v oblasti cestovního ruchu. The thesis is focused on the tour operators that follow this obligation required by government and insurance companies provide the insurance of insolvency.
The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part is definition of tourism and organizations which operate in tourism market. There is the definition of insurance expected especially related to tourism. The end of theoretical part explained insurance against insolvency tour operators and related models for predicting financial distress.
The practical part is focused on analysis of tour operators insurance and creating recommendations for individual organizations. The first part is targeted to build questionnaire, which focuses on evaluation of tour operator s relation to obligatory insurance against insolvency. Another part is focused on financial analysis of the already bankrupt tour operator with the intention to use bankruptcy and credibility models as a tool for prediction of companies financial distress. The last part of the thesis contains controlled interview with an insurance company employee that provides insolvency insurance. At the end of the thesis is the comparison of results prepared recommendations for organizations that combines insurance against insolvency of tour operators.
