The aim of this thesis is to test the usability of "GNSS tourist equipment" for application in LPIS. Selected devices will fix the position of the fracture points of the selected soil block. Then I create a polygon and determine the area. The results will be compared with LPIS data. Based on this comparison, the usability of selected devices will be evaluated. In the theoretical part I will introduce readers to basic concepts in global positioning systems, coordinate systems and LPIS public register. In the practical part I will describe the choice of soil block and instruments, methodology of measurement and data processing. Outputs will include polygons, along with a table of deviations. After that I will evaluate the usability of devices.
