Petra Vaňková ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis focuses on one of the most important phenomena present in IT called cloud computing. Cloud computing has the potential to significantly affect the way of the use of digital technologies in education, by extension, in the school environment. The thesis deals with the possibilities of utilising cloud technologies in the secondary school environment. Questionnaire survey gathers the information about the use of cloud computing by the staff of secondary schools in the Czech Republic and proposes comprehensive solutions of cloud computing usage via the cloud-based service Google Apps for Education.
