Orientador: Daniel Martinez Avila / Banca: José Augusto Chaves Guimarães / Banca: Fábio Assis Pinho / Resumo: A produção científica brasileira na área de Ciência da Informação teve um crescimento considerado, tendo em vista que o grupo de pesquisadores bolsistas de produtividade do CNPq de uma área do conhecimento, altamente relevantes do pensamento cientifica da área e para o avanço do conhecimento na Ciência da Informação, pouco se observa estudos que evidenciem e visualizem suas produções científicas. Desse modo, a dissertação buscou identificar e analisar as orientações concluídas de doutorado e a produção científica, a partir dos currículos Lattes, dos bolsistas Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq, nas categorias sênior, nível 1, na citada área. Por tanto, buscando a colaboração cientifica. Foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória de caráter quantitativo e de campo, e se valerá do método de análise de domínio, com o objetivo de apresentar as genealogias investigativas dos 18 bolsistas eleitos na área. Mostrando os periódicos mais produtivos da área, sendo 5 nacionais (DataGramaZero, Perspectivas em Ciência da Informação, Transinformação, Informação&Informação, Encontros Bibli) e 3 internacionais (Scire, Knowledge Organization e Ibersid), que apesar de tímida a inserção dos periódicos internacionais, já mostra o desenvolvimento de trabalhos na área.
