Civil Engineering. / Discusses the main objective of this research was to investigate and develop an integrated catchment modelling of sedimentation processes and management for the Welbedacht reservoir. The specific objectives of the study were: 1. to determine the various sources and rates of sediment transport.; 2. to develop a model for integrated catchment sedimentation processes and 3. to apply the model developed in (2) in order to design integrated catchment sedimentation management strategies for the Welbedacht reservoir.
