Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stará Boleslava This diploma thesis deal the pilgrimage church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stará Boleslav. The first part will mainly dedicate the church, which according to the literature replace today's baroque church, but by the Archaeological Survey apparently found another place. Followed by a description of the course of construction, its architectural analysis and a brief mention of zhe buildings that inspired the church. The biggest part will be devoted to interior decoration of the church and a detailed description of each part of the decoration. Next chapter closer to building cloisters, their paintings and other aquipment. Final chapter is devoted Palladium of Czech land, legends associated with him, its history and pilgramages, which took place in Stará Boleslav.
