The diploma thesis deals with the design of the measuring bucket of bucket wheel excavator KR400Nk. The main part of this thesis is the strength analysis of the supporting structure and the measuring bucket, which is done using the finite element method. In addition, examinations of the elements replaced in the finite element model are performed. Appropriate adjustments are proposed based on strength analysis.
