The main aim of this study was to test the effect of personality differences of breeding pairs on reproduction success in cotton-top tamarin (Saguinus oedipus) and red-handed tamarin (Saguinus midas). To evaluate personality, the behavioral coding of common everyday activities and multivariate statistical methods were used. Data on reproduction were provided by zoological gardens. The effect of behavioral indices and other parameters on reproduction was examined using linear models.
