The main objective was to create a work that would form a coherent and comprehensive view on this issue. The thesis contains a theoretical and practical part. The practical part includes qualitative research. The research consists of five case studies. These case studies show the sexual abuse of children in practice. The goal of the practical part is the description of cases of sexual abuse, evaluation, comparison of results and identification of common features that appear in the case studies and also in the theoretical part of my work. The analyses of case studies show that the perpetrator was always the family. The consequences of sexual abuse that emerged from the case studies, agree with your description of the theoretical part. In most cases, it was a long- term consequence. The last chapter of the thesis is called prevention. This chapter is the most important of the whole work. It is important to focus not only on the treatment of sexually abused children, but also the environment in which the social and legal protection of children is provided.
