Previous issue date: 2004 / Neste trabalho objetiva-se pesquisar sistemas modulados tridimensionais, do ponto
de vista arquitetônico e estrutural, buscando sua discriminação através de modelos
teóricos. Devido à larga possibilidade de reunir dados sobre o assunto, o enfoque foi dado
ao estudo de sistemas utilizados em coberturas. Para a discriminação dos modelos, buscouse
relacionar processos de equacionamento de formas através da geometria e nesta
interface, reunir informações para auxiliar profissionais na etapa de investigação de um
projeto. Entre os modelos propostos, foi utilizado como parâmetro de referência, um
sistema construtivo convencional mas, considerando-se que além dos sistemas clássicos de
se construir estruturas moduladas existem outros modelos igualmente viáveis e possíveis
de serem desenvolvidos, investigam-se dois sistemas alternativos e menos usuais
comparando-os ao sistema convencional. Assim, após serem analisados alguns modelos
geométricos planos e espaciais, foram propostos três sistemas para coberturas onde foram
valorizadas ainda a ambientação interna e a linguagem formal da edificação. Para efeito de
análise comparativa e dimensionamento dos componentes foi especificado um mesmo
perfil tubular cilíndrico. O trabalho analisa finalmente as possibilidades de concepção
arquitetônica, decorrentes de sua utilização. Mostra-se que os modelos não usuais
componentes. propostos são viáveis quando se comparam os parâmetros peso por m2 e o
número de componentes. ______________________________________________________________________________________ / ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to research three-dimensional modulated systems from
an architectonic and structural perspective, making use of constructed theoretical models.
The focus will be set on the study of the systems used in penthouses due to the
possibility of easily collect data about this matter.
In order to distinguish the models, we seek to establish relations among the
different processes of equating the forms by using geometry and in this interface, gather
information to help professionals when they are in the investigation phase of their projects.
We have used a conventional constructed system as our reference pattern.
However, we have decided to investigate two other alternative ones, not frequently used
but equally feasible.
Therefore, after analyzing some plane and spatial geometric models we have
proposed three systems for penthouses where we have also considered the interior
atmosphere and the formal language of the building.
We have specified an identical cylindrical-tubular profile in order to measure the
components and make the comparative analysis.
Finally, we also examine the possibilities of architectonic conceptions derived from
its use. We show that the unconventional models proposed are suitable when we have to
compare the weight per square meter with the number of components.
