The main objective of this research work is to better understand the role of digital technologies, whose implementation has grown significantly in recent years in Germany. Digitalization and Information and Communication Technologies play crucial roles in the German economy, in fields such as education, industries, business, management and, ultimately, in the entire economy. Therefore, the main objective of this Thesis is to calculate the evolution of the product of the German economy through the parameterization of the constant elasticity of substitution production function and considering different scenarios of the input factors included in it. In this way, the potential relative productivity of each of the elements will be calculated. Among these factors are Industry 4.0 and ICT, among others, which will allow us to see their relative evolution in each of the future cases.:1. Foreword . . . 6
