Elevstöd kring matematiska textuppgifter i digitala läromedel : En innehållsanalys av två digitala läromedel i matematik för årkurs 3

Abstract  The purpose of this study is to contribute knowledge about how digital resources can support students with mathematical text assignments. Specifically, the study aims to study what potential digital resources can have in linguistic support for students. The implementation of the study is based on socio-cultural and multimodal perspective. It is a quantitative study based on a content analysis of two digital resources for year 3. The digital resources that are analyzed are Bingel and NE. Tafflins framework and van Bommel’s description of mathematical text assignments are used to analyze three types of assignments. Division between assignments are text assignments, routine assignments and problem assignments. Past research and literature are also used to analyze different aspects of linguistic support for students.  The research questions of the study are: • What support is there for students with difficulties around mathematical text  assignments in digital recourses? • What are the differences and similarities between the reviewed digital resources  regarding support for students with difficulties?  The results show that all three types of assignments occur in digital resources Bingel and NE. The resources have auditive support and visual support, while only Bingel has word and conceptual explanation. Translation support is lacking in both resources.  Keywords: Digital resources, mathematical text assignments, support.
