Previous issue date: 2012-08-28 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior / On this paper, I propose a reflexion on the formation of a youth maroon, as a political subject , based on experience, personal expectations and social projects in the construction of a political identity in the community quilombola Capoeiras, which is located in the district of Maca?ba (RN). I observed two social situations; the projects of the Pau-furado Youth and the Swingueira Quilombola , those kinds of dances that have as protagonists or as audience the youth people who lives in the community here mentioned, those people that legitimize and innovate in these traditions and roles they play and crucial positions in the construction of ethnic identities and generation within a political community. It seeks to understand the place of youth in this new context of political affirmation and identity. It is, therefore, to understand the diversity in their local youth from different social, cultural, political and economic / Proponho neste trabalho refletir sobre a forma??o de uma juventude quilombola enquanto sujeito pol?tico , tomando por base as experi?ncias, as expectativas pessoais e os projetos sociais destes na constru??o de uma identidade pol?tica quilombola na comunidade quilombola de Capoeiras, localizada no munic?pio de Maca?ba (RN). Lan?o olhar, especialmente, sobre duas situa??es sociais, os projetos: do Pau-Furado Juvenil e da Swingueira Quilombola, s?o dan?as que t?m como protagonistas ou como p?blico-alvo parcelas dos jovens da comunidade que nestes legitimam e inovam suas tradi??es e passam a desempenhar pap?is e posicionamentos cruciais na constru??o das identidades ?tnica e de gera??o dentro de um projeto pol?tico de comunidade. Procura-se perceber o lugar da juventude nesse novo contexto de afirma??o pol?tica e identit?ria.
