The petrology of some syenites and granites in Labrador.

During the summer of 1949, the Geological Survey of Canada carried out a reconnaissance survey of the east coast of Labrador between Hamilton Inlet and Hopedale. Dr. E. H. Kranck, Professor of Petrology, McGill University, was the leader of this party. Dr Kranck had previously examined the rocks of the coastal region in 1937, as a member of the Finland-Labrador Expedition, and in 1939 as a leader of a second expedition from Finland. [...]
