292864.pdf: 1438378 bytes, checksum: ffe0ec5379812aa618b94560ba52c70a (MD5) / A literatura tem destacado a importância do desenvolvimento de modelos gerenciais para a gestão ambiental capazes de retratar uma realidade das empresas e de contribuir com um instrumento de gestão de efetiva utilidade. Busca-se, então, aperfeiçoar os métodos de gestão ambiental com o intuito precípuo de suprir as necessidades informativas dos gestores de modo a subsidiar a tomada de decisão e harmonizar a interação entre empresa e meio ambiente. Neste contexto, este trabalho buscou responder à seguinte pergunta de pesquisa: como podem ser realizadas contribuições para o aperfeiçoamento da aplicação do Sistema Contábil Gerencial Ambiental # SICOGEA - Geração 2, com ênfase na Contabilidade Ambiental? Sendo assim, o objetivo do presente estudo consistiu em fornecer uma contribuição para o desenvolvimento do SICOGEA - Geração 2, buscando sua exequibilidade por meio de estudos de caso. Para responder aos objetivos da pesquisa, foi realizado um estudo exploratório-descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa dos dados. A coleta dos dados consistiu de um estudo de viabilidade, desenvolvido em três etapas distintas, a saber: i) mapeamento dos aspectos considerados relevantes em estudos que abordam a aplicação do SICOGEA; ii) análise de confiabilidade do SICOGEA; e iii) análise de viabilidade do aperfeiçoamento do SICOGEA-Geração 2 na percepção de pesquisadores que aplicaram o referido sistema. Como resultado obteve-se a proposta metodológica do SICOGEA-Geração 3, que chama a atenção pela flexibilidade de sua estrutura e por apresentar uma maior integração entre as etapas e fases. A terceira geração do SICOGEA trouxe contribuições a título de inclusão de ações, como as de #Dinâmica dos grupos e feedback., #Identificação dos stakeholders., #Diagnóstico das atividades poluidoras. e #Plano geral de gestão ambiental.. O modelo sugeriu a utilização do mapeamento das tividades potencialmente poluidoras como critério norteador para a atribuição dos pontos possíveis para as questões da lista de verificação. Além disso, propôs que se considere, na seleção dos fornecedores, a prova de que os produtos possuem certificação ambiental e, portanto, oferecem menos riscos ao meio ambiente. Houve também a antecipação em duas fases da elaboração do #Plano resumido de gestão ambiental., tendo em vista melhorias observadas na aplicação do SICOGEA em alguns casos. Para a ilustração da aplicação de algumas das alterações introduzidas pelo SICOGEA-Geração 3 foram utilizados três estudos de caso realizados por pesquisadores que participaram do estudo de viabilidade do método. Deste modo, o método proposto mostrou ser válido como um aperfeiçoamento dos métodos de análise da sustentabilidade ambiental arquitetados por Pfitscher (2004) e Nunes (2010). / Literature has been highlighting the importance of developing not only management models for environmental management which show a reality of companies, but also of contributing with an effectively useful management tool. It is therefore necessary to try to improve the methods of environmental management with the main objective of meeting the information needs of the managers so as to help decision making and to harmonize the corporation with the environment. In this context, this work searches for the answer to the following research question: how can contributions be made for the improvement of the application of the Sistema Contábil Gerencial Ambiental # SICOGEA - Geração 2 (#Environmental Management Accounting System # SICOGEA # Generation 2#), with emphasis on Environmental Accountancy? Thus, the aim of this work consisted in providing a contribution for the improvement of the aforementioned system searching for its implementation by means of case studies. In order to respond to the objectives of the research, an exploratory-descriptive study was carried out with a qualitative approach of the data. Data collection, by the way, consisted of a study of feasibility which was developed in three distinct stages: i) mapping out the aspects considered relevant in studies that approach the application of SICOGEA; ii) analysis of the reliability of SICOGEA; and iii) analysis of the feasibility of improving the SICOGEA # Generation 2, in the perception of the researchers that applied such a system. As a result, the proposal of creation of SICOGEA # Generation 3 was raised, which calls attention because of the flexibility of its structure and also because it presents a broader integration of the steps and the stages. The third generation of SICOGEA brought contributions as regards the inclusion of actions such as #Dynamics of groups and feedback#, #Identification of the stakeholders#, #Diagnosis of the activities that produce pollution# and #General plan of environmental management#. The model suggested the mapping out of the activities that are highly polluting as a guiding criterion for the possible grades to be given to the questions of the check list. In addition, it proposed that, when selecting the suppliers, the following be considered: evidence that the products have the environmental certification and, therefore, that they offer less risks to the environment. There was also anticipation in two stages of the elaboration of the #Summarized plan of environmental management. in view of the improvements observed in the application of SICOGEA in some cases. In order to illustrate the application of some changes introduced by SICOGEA # Generation 3, three case studies were carried out by researchers that took part in the feasibility study of the method. Thus, the method proposed proved to be valid as an improvement of the analysis methods for the environmental sustainability conceived by Pfitscher (2004) and Nunes (2010).
