The diploma thesis deals with behavior of consumers of the Czech and Slovak Republics in relation to handmade products. Thesis research handmade products markets, identifies factors and consumer behavior in preference and in purchasing handmade products. The diploma thesis uses various techniques of marketing research such as quantitive research, qualitative research or cluster analysis. The result of the thesis is to find consumer behavior in both markets, market compari-sions, segment characteristics and marketing recommendations for the Czech and Slovak handmade products market.
