This study aims to investigate how the media constructs the presentation of honour-related violence and oppression. The purpose is to through relevantly chosen theories and the using of a qualitative method, research and comprehend an understanding of the central phenomenon of this study. Media is known to possess a specific power that could control how the community views the world and understands different phenomena such as culture, religion and different ethnic groups. Depending on the usage of this power in contexts of writing news articles about honour-related violence and oppression, individuals will create ideas regarding this subject which could result in a wry and oblique perception of reality.
