I förskolan är litteratur en stor del av barns vardag och de har ofta möjlighet att själva styrasin läsning beroende på vilken bok som tilltalar dem. Vid många tillfällen under en dag skerdock också läsning av böcker som pedagogerna väljer ut. Vårt syfte är att undersöka deböcker pedagoger förevisar för att utforska huruvida de har en mångsidighet iframställningen av karaktärer och deras förhållningssätt till varandra. Studien är kvalitativmed intersektionalitet som teoretisk utgångspunkt för att analysera text och bilder i deutvalda böckerna. Våra slutsatser har vi kommit fram till genom att med ett intersektionelltperspektiv analysera hur sociala kategorier skapar möjlighet för identifikation. Med dessaslutsatser kan vi utvärdera valda delar av den litteratur som pedagoger presenterar förbarnen. / In preschool, the presented literature is a significant part of children's everyday life. Oftenthey have the opportunity to control their reading depending on the book that interests them.However, on many occasions during the day, the books that are presented to them are oftenthe educator's choice. Our purpose is to investigate which books educators show and explorewhether they have versatility in the way they present characters and their approach to eachother. The method we have chosen to collect our empirical data is qualitative, the next stepwe had to take was to then analyze the material using theories on intersectionality. Theresult we generated with this essay is that books chosen by educators at the preschool have awell represented diversity regarding opportunity to identify in situations the intended reader.In conclusion, we analyzed the collected empirical material with the purpose of view booksfrom an intersectional perspective, focusing on the home as a physical and socialconstruction. Our conclusions can be used to evaluate literature that educators choose topresent to the children and act as a tool for mapping intersectionality and its influence on thecontent of the book and the intended reader.
