A violência no trabalho em enfermagem é um problema de saúde pública que vem contribuindo significantemente com licenças médicas nos serviços de saúde e adoecimento de seus trabalhadores. OBJETIVO. Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a produção nacional e internacional de pesquisas que adotaram como objeto de investigação “estratégias empregadas como política institucional para coibir e/ou prevenirem a violência no trabalho da enfermagem”. MÉTODO. Revisão integrativa, cuja seleção da amostra deu-se por meio do acesso às bases de dados: Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), US National Library of Medicine (PubMed Central), Scopus, Current Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) e Web of Science (WoS). Utilizaram-se como estratégia de busca os descritores controlados combinados com operadores booleanos dispostos no Medical Subject Headings (MeSH): workplace violence OR bullying AND nursing AND prevention program, nas bases de dados: PubMed, CINAHL e WoS. Na LILACS foi empregada a seguinte combinação, conforme Descritores das Ciências da Saúde (DeCS): violência no trabalho OR programas de prevenção AND enfermagem. Adotou-se como critérios de inclusão artigos completos, com resumos disponíveis e relacionados ao objeto de pesquisa, nos idiomas Português, Inglês e Espanhol, indexados nas bases de dados referidas, no período de 01 de janeiro de 2013 a 15 de setembro de 2017. Violence in nursing work is a public health problem that has been contributing significantly with medical licenses in the health services and sickness of its workers. Objective. The following combination was used in LILACS, according to Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS): workplace violence OR prevention and nursing programs. Adopted inclusion criteria were complete articles, with abstracts available and related to the research object, in the Portuguese, English and Spanish languages, indexed in the referred databases, from January 1, 2013 to September 15, 2017.
