The thesis isfocused on thesymptomsofcattlelameness, it´srelation to thereproduction and productionfigures. Describesthe most frequentdiseases in farms in the Czech Republic. Itfocuses on factorsaffectingthequality and thehealthofthehoof, hoofdisease incidence and solutionthehealthconsequences on reproduction and productionfordairycows. Oneofthe most important and effectivefactorreducingthe risk oflamenesshooftreatmentispreventive and early treatmentofinfectious and non-infectioushoofillness. Functionalhooftreatmentworks as a preventionof non-infectioushoofdisease. Disinfectionbaths serve to preventthespreadofinfectiousdiseasesof a herdfingers.
