In this thesis "Growth dynamic and yield production of maize grown under different row spacing" was observed a field experiment conducted in 2013 -- 2014 on the Experimental Field Station in Žabčice. The experiment was aimed on comparison of growth dynamic and yields of forage maize grown under narrow rows (0,35 m), traditional rows (0,75 m) and twin-rows in variants with different seed rates. Results were influenced by extremely different weather conditions in each of the observed year. In the year with low precipitations from July to the harvest (2013) was observed statistically significant increase of yields in case of variants with narrow rows and twin-row in comparison to traditional row distance. In 2014 during these months was enough precipitation and differences between variants were minimal.
