emblematic space in 20th century‟s Opinion Journalism. This paper intends to describe the characteristics of the remark format, based on the journalistic genre theory. This research has identified eight types of remarks in Journalism practiced by this North Eastern reporter born in the Brazilian state of Piauí, making it possible for us to understand the different

jornalismo opinativo no século XX. Esta dissertação busca descrever as características do formato comentário, tendo como base a teoria dos gêneros jornalísticos. A pesquisa
identificou oito tipos de comentários no jornalismo praticado pelo repórter piauiense, possibilitando a diferenciação das características relacionadas ao contexto histórico e à
conjuntura política.
