TITLE: The work opportunities for clients from Children homes using the social services of Halfway Houses in Prague AUTHOR: Anna Kudláková DEPARTMENT: SUPERVIZOR: PhDr. Olga Havránková This dissertation deals with the topic of work opportunities for clients from children homes using the social services of halfway houses in Prague. The aim of my work was lives of people after leaving institutional care, specifically childrens homes. I studied and classify and eventually I provide comperhensive information on the issue. The work is trying to map the life style of former clients of children's homes, mainly in the area of employment. The work also explores of opportunities on the labour market and their real usage. I have chosen this topic because of my own commitment to the issue. I worked as social worker in the children home. And now I work as a street worker for the labour office in Prague. I am working for all Prague districts so I can see the clients of labour office in the whole capital. I can see the opportunities of the unemployed. I wanted know if the former clients of children's homes have a different possibilities than people who growed up in normal function families.
