Svenska skolan digitaliseras allt mer och det medför ett behov av ytterligare forskning kring området. En aspekt som hittills fått ett litet utrymme är lärares roll i sammanhanget. Den här fallstudien vilar därför på tre intervjuade lärares berättelser om hur de använder digitala spel i matematikundervisningen. Syftet med studien är att genom att studera hur kompetensen hos lärare kan ta sig uttryck, ge andra lärare inspiration till att använda digitala spel i sin undervisning. Två perspektiv har antagits för att synliggöra kompetensen inom området. Den ena utgångspunkten är spelen och hur de används. Den andra utgångspunkten är undervisningen och hur den har påverkats. Resultaten visar att en stor del av användandet är ren färdighetsträning, men lärarna hittar även sätt som tar undervisningen ett steg längre och därmed rättfärdigar användandet av digitala spel i deras verksamhet. / Swedish school becomes increasingly digitized and that causes a need for further research on the subject. One aspect that so far has received little attention is the teacher's role. This case study is therefor based on three interviewed teachers’ stories telling how they use digital games in the mathematics education. The purpose of the study is that by studying how the teachers’ competence can appear, give inspiration for other teachers to use digital games in their teaching.Two perspectives have been adopted to detect their competencies in the field. One point of view has been the games and how they are used. The other point of view has been the education and how it has been influenced. Results show that a large part of the usage is pure routine exercises, but the teachers can also find ways to take education one step further and thus justifies the use of digital games in their practice.
