Tekniken har de senaste decennierna blivit allt mer inkorporerad i vårt moderna samhälle ochtillvaro och påverkat hur vi lever. Många nya tekniker uppmärksammas ofta med förundran ellerkritik, för att sedan efter hand gradvis integreras i vår vardag. En aktuell typ av teknik som skullekunna vara på väg till en sådan roll är den mängd artificiell intelligens som har nått nya höjderunder en mycket kort tid. För tillfället är framtiden för dessa rätt oklar, men det finns mycketspekulationer kring både potentialen kring tekniken samt risker som kan uppkomma. Oavsett hurlänge tekniken förblir aktuell i praktiken, hjälper dessa synpunkter oss att ställa viktiga frågorkring vår relation gentemot tekniken. Hur vill vi relatera till den? Hur beroende vill vi vara avden? Vad kan konsekvensen av överanvändning vara? I denna artikel har vi använt spekulativdesign för att utforska vilka möjligheter teknik och maskiner i allmänhet skulle kunna ge oss,med syfte att uppmärksamma frågor som dessa. Genom att ha gestaltat fem scenarier i olikavisioner och kontexter om en nära framtid, har vi utforskat sociala, etiska och kulturella frågorsom uppkom kring tekniken och vår tillvaro. / Technology has become increasingly incorporated into our modern society and existence overthe past few decades, influencing how we live. Many new technologies are often met with awe orcriticism, only to gradually become integrated into our daily lives. One current type oftechnology that may be on its way to such a role is the abundance of artificial intelligence thathas reached new heights in a very short time. At the moment, the future of this technology issomewhat unclear, but there is much speculation regarding both its potential and the risks thatmay arise. Regardless of how long the technology remains relevant in practice, theseperspectives help us ask important questions about our relationship with technology. How do wewant to relate to it? How dependent do we want to be on it? What can be the consequences ofoveruse? In this article, we have employed speculative design to explore the possibilities thattechnology and machines, in general, could offer us, with the aim of raising awareness aboutthese questions. By depicting five scenarios in different visions and contexts of a near future, wehave explored the social, ethical, and cultural issues that arise concerning technology and ourexistence.
