Denna studie undersöker hur en användbar applikation för att hjälpa människor upptäcka staden Norrköping skulle kunna utformas. Designprocessen har utgått från användarens behov genom användartester, observationer och intervjuer med potentiella användare. Processen har också innefattat en förstudie, bearbetningsfas och detaljeringsfas där koncept och utformning för applikationen har utvecklats, utvärderats och utarbetats för att resultera i en interaktiv digital prototyp. Studien ämnade att svara på frågan "Hur kan en applikation med syfte att hjälpa människor att upptäcka intressepunkter (platser, sevärdheter, evenemang och aktiviteter) i Norrköping utformas för att användaren ska få en positiv användarupplevelse?". Resultatet visar att den framtagna prototypen för applikationen Välkommen till Norrköping ger användaren en positiv användarupplevelse och att applikationen skulle vara till hjälp för att upptäcka staden. / This study examines how a useable application to help people explore the city of Norrköping could be designed. The design process has proceeded with the users’ needs in mind through user tests, observations and interviews with potential users. The process has also included a pre-study, a processing phase and a detailing phase where the concept and the design for the application have been developed and evaluated which resulted in an interactive digital prototype. The study intended to answer the question "How can an application that aims to help people explore points of interest (places, tourist attractions, events and activities) in Norrköping be designed to give the user a positive user experience?". The result shows that the produced prototype for the application Welcome to Norrköping gives the user a positive user experience and that the application would be helpful for exploring the city.
