El sector textil en el Perú posee una gran participación en el PBI y ofrece diversos
puestos de trabajo; no obstante, ha sido afectado por las disposiciones del Gobierno
Peruano frente a la pandemia, generando problemas en su desenvolvimiento
específicamente en la rentabilidad. Además, diversos factores macroeconómicos
influyen en su desempeño. Por ello, este proyecto es importante pues, ante la
problemática, brinda herramientas futuras relacionadas con la teoría de rendición de
cuentas y la teoría de la agencia que permite identificar planes de contingencia
frente a situaciones similares. En este sentido, el objetivo principal de la tesis
consiste en medir la relación que existe entre los factores macroeconómicos como;
el nivel de desempleo, nivel de producción e inflación, en un entorno COVID-19 y la
rentabilidad de las empresas peruanas del sector textil supervisadas por la SMV.
Por consiguiente, el análisis financiero de la investigación se realiza por los años
2020-2021; sin embargo, para el análisis estadístico se aplicarán los años 2013-
2021, cuya información nos ayudará a determinar las correlaciones y comprobar las
hipótesis. Para su argumentación se utilizan tesis, fuentes bibliográficas, revistas,
artículos académicos y estados financieros de la SMV. Seguidamente, la
investigación no experimental, emplea la metodología de tipo cuantitativa y
transeccional, pues recopila información sobre la rentabilidad de las empresas del
sector textil; además, se dispone del Coeficiente de Correlación de Spearman para
precisar la contrastación de la hipótesis general. Por último, según los resultados, se
determina que existe una relación significativa entre los factores macroeconómicos y
la rentabilidad de las empresas del sector textil, por lo que es esencial un monitoreo constante para que las empresas puedan adaptarse a un entorno económico
dinámico. / The textile sector in Peru has a large participation in the GDP and offers many jobs;
however, it has been affected by the provisions of the Peruvian Government
regarding the pandemic, generating problems in its development, specifically in
profitability. In addition, various macroeconomic factors influence its performance.
Therefore, this project is important because, given the problem, it provides future
tools related to the theory of accountability and agency theory that allow identifying
contingency plans in the face of similar situations. In this sense, the main objective of
the thesis is to measure the relationship that exists between macroeconomic factors
such as; the level of unemployment, level of production and inflation, in a COVID-19
environment and the profitability of peruvian companies in the textile sector
supervised by the SMV. Accordingly, the financial analysis of the research is carried
out for the years 2020-2021; however, for the statistical analysis the years 2013-
2021 will be applied, whose information will help us to determine the correlations and
test the hypotheses. For its argumentation, theses, bibliographic sources,
magazines, academic articles and financial statements of the SMV are used. Next,
non-experimental research uses quantitative and transectional methodology, as it
collects information on the profitability of companies in the textile sector. In addition,
the Spearman Correlation Coefficient is available to specify the testing of the general
hypothesis. Finally, according to the results, it is determined that there is a significant
relationship between macroeconomic factors and the profitability of companies in the
textile sector, which is essential a constant monitoring so that companies can adapt
to a dynamic economic environment.
