Previous issue date: 2014-03-31 / The paper is an empirical investigation of individual and regional determinants of the processes of matching and labor turnover in Brazil, using a binary response model and a negative binomial regression. The analysis period covers the years between 2001 and 2010. During this period, it is verified evidence of the influence of the control variables on the decisions of permanent separation between employer and employee, according to domestic and international theory and empirical evidence. / O presente trabalho faz uma investiga??o emp?rica dos determinantes individuais e locacionais sobre os processos de matching e rotatividade da m?o de obra no Brasil, utilizando modelos de resposta bin?ria e de regress?o binomial negativa. O per?odo analisado compreende os anos entre 2001 e 2010. Neste per?odo, ? verificada evid?ncia de influ?ncia das vari?veis de controle utilizadas sobre as decis?es de separa??o permanente entre empregador e empregado, indo ao encontro da teoria e evid?ncia emp?rica nacional e internacional.
