La tesi tratta il potere politico di Giovanni II Bentivoglio, signore di Bologna nella seconda metà del Quattrocento, in particolare i ritratti dipinti del signore, il progetto urbano bentivolesco e i dipinti religiosi commissionati dal primo cittadino. / The thesis deals with the political power of Giovanni II Bentivoglio, Lord of Bologna in the second half of the fifteenth century. The focus is on his painted portraits, town urban projects and religious painting commissioned by him.
