This diploma thesis deals with the system of evaluation and remuneration of employees in Slovenská pošta, a. s. and Česká pošta, s. p. The aim of the diploma thesis is to propose recommendations for the system of evaluation and remuneration in state-owned enterprises providing postal services. The theoretical part summarises the general terms of motivation, evaluation and remuneration of employees. In the practical part, the current system for the evaluation and remuneration of employees was examined. The practical part further contains interviews with chief post office employees, a questionnaire of post office employees and the verification of defined hypotheses. Based on the results of the in-depth interviews and questionnaire, recommendations leading to an increase in motivation and satisfaction of employees were formed.
