The Diploma Thesis deals with work stimulation of employees of small Municipal Authorities and the possibilities of applying implements. Attention is focused on the basics of work stimulation and on stimulating implements in the system of personnel management, on the form of personnel management in the public administration in small Municipal Authorities and on the work stimulation of employees of small Municipal Authorities. The quantitative empirical investigation of work stimulation from the point of view of the employees of small Municipal Authorities in Southern Bohemia is a part of the Diploma Thesis.
