The subject of this thesis is the design and assessment of steel construction of the shopping center in Chrudim in Pardubice region. Business center was designed as a three-aisled with a common space in the middle. Each hall has a platform 48.0 meters x 63.0 meters, shared space is a ground plan the shape of an equilateral triangle with sides of 48.0 meters. The construction of halls in the transverse direction comprises three trusses. The two beams are to span 20.0 meters and a span of one to 8.0 meters. Clearance height ranges from 8.0 to 10.0 m. The main structure is made of rectangular hollow sections, tubes of circular profiles and will be awarded. The axial distance trusses is 7.0 meters.
