Profesional de Ingeniera Agrónoma / En la temporada 2015 se estudió el efecto del aceite mineral (ELF PURESPRAY 15E) y
extracto de linaza (BIOIL SPRAY) a concentraciones de 0,5; 1,0 y 1,5% sobre la
sobrevivencia del pulgón del nogal (Chromaphis juglandicola) en nogales (Juglans regia)
ubicados en la zona central de Chile. El ensayo consistió en la inmersión de hojas con un
número mayor o igual a 200 individuos en el envés, durante 5 segundos en cada una de las
concentraciones. El estudio se realizó en un huerto comercial de nogales cv. Chandler,
ubicado en Requinoa, Región del Libertador General Bernardo O´Higgins, Chile. Las
evaluaciones se efectuaron midiendo el porcentaje de sobrevivencia de los individuos a los
4 y 7 días después de la inmersión (DDI). Se concluyó que las aplicaciones de aceite
mineral y extracto de linaza a concentraciones ≥0,5; ≤1,5% controlan efectivamente al
áfido en hojas de nogal. / During the 2015 growing season, was studied the effect of mineral oil (ELF PURESPRAY
15E) and flaxseed extract (BIOIL SPRAY) at concentrations of 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5% on the
control of walnut aphid (Chromaphis juglandicola) on walnut (Juglans regia) located in the
central zone of Chile. The test consisted in dipping leaves with 200 or more individuals in
the underside, into each concentration for 5 seconds. The study was conducted at a
commercial orchard of "Chandler" walnut, located in Requinoa, Libertador General
Bernardo O´Higgins Region, Chile. The evaluations were made by measuring the
percentage of survival of individuals at 4 and 7 days after dipping (DAD). Conclusion was
that mineral oil (ELF PURESPRAY 15E) and vegetable oil (BIOIL SPRAY) at
concentrations of ≥0.5, ≤1.5% effectively control to the aphid in walnut leaves.
