This diploma thesis deals with the effects of the economic crisis in Ukraine on economic cooperation between Russia and the European Union. Part of the literature research discusses the theoretical aspects of relations between Russia and the European Union before and beyond the crisis in Ukraine. The analytical section within each chapter analyzes the basic indicators of the economic cooperation between the EU and Russia and describes the effects of economic sanctions on these economies. In the context of the proposal section are designed possible solutions and measures in the field of stabilisation of the economic relations.
